This part of GB/T 20818 provides a general structure for process equipment catalogs of industrial process measurement and control equipment with analog or digital output, classified by product characteristics, to facilitate the understanding of product descriptions when transferring products from one party to another. This part is applicable to product manufacturers in compiling process measurement equipment catalogs and helps users place orders. This part can also serve as a reference document for all subsequent standards related to process measurement equipment catalogs. In addition, this part can also serve as a guide for the future development of standards related to documents of other types of measurement equipment and actuators, such as process equipment.
