Abstract
This part specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and contract content for aluminum-titanium-boron alloy wire refiners produced by methods such as casting rolling and casting extrusion. This part applies to linear aluminum-titanium-boron alloy refiners (hereinafter referred to as wire) used to refine the grain structure of aluminum and aluminum alloys in the as-cast and casting-rolled states.
