This part of GB/T 12972 specifies the classification, general technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for mining rubber-sheathed soft cables. This part applies to AC rated voltage U0/U of 6/10 kV and below for mining copper core rubber-insulated rubber-sheathed soft cables. This part should be used in conjunction with the subsequent parts of GB/T 12972.
