Abstract
This part of GB/T 20975 specifies the spectrophotometric method with potassium iodide and the titrimetric method with ceric sulfate for determining the arsenic content in aluminum and aluminum alloys.
This part is applicable to the arbitration determination of arsenic content in aluminum and aluminum alloys. The measurement range of the spectrophotometric method with potassium iodide is 0.004% to 0.25%; the measurement range of the titrimetric method with ceric sulfate is 4.00% to 16.50%.
