Abstract
This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for bilge water separators (hereinafter referred to as "separators") and bilge water alarm devices (hereinafter referred to as "alarm devices") in marine bilge water treatment systems (hereinafter referred to as "treatment systems"). This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of treatment systems with a rated processing capacity of 0.1 m3/h to 50 m3/h.
