Abstract
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of calcium (Ca), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn), potassium (K), sodium (Na), and zinc (Zn) in feed using an atomic absorption spectrometer. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of calcium (Ca), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn), potassium (K), sodium (Na), and zinc (Zn) in compound feed, concentrated feed, supplementary feed, premix feed additives, and feed raw materials. The detection limits for the content of each element in this method are: K, Na: 500 mg/kg; Ca, Mg: 50 mg/kg; Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn: 5 mg/kg.
