This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of humidifiers.
This standard applies to humidifiers for household and similar purposes.
This standard also applies to humidifiers used in public places.
Note that humidifiers used in the following situations may require additional requirements:
——Humidifiers used in vehicles (such as cars, ships, airplanes, etc.);
——Humidifiers used on other household and similar-purpose appliances.
This standard does not apply to:
——Humidifiers designed specifically for industrial purposes;
——Humidifiers used in special environments where corrosive and explosive gases (such as dust, steam, and gas) are frequently produced;
——Humidifiers with medical purposes.
