GB/T 28174.4-2011 Unified modeling language (UML)—Part 4:Diagram interchange
Abstract
This part of GB/T 28174 specifies a unified modeling language for visualizing, detailing, constructing, and documenting various types of software systems. This language can also be used for modeling in other fields.
This part is applicable to the smooth and seamless exchange of documents among different software tools. These tools may include UML modeling tools, code generators, word processing tools, and desktop publishing tools, etc. This part can also be used as a specification for exchanging and representing UML models on the Internet.
There are no optional compatibility points for diagram exchange. Compatibility with diagram exchange means compatibility with its abstract syntax, well-formedness rules, semantics, symbols, and XMI. The assignment of diagram elements is described in Appendix A.
