Abstract
This standard specifies the structure, models, basic requirements, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, user manuals, transportation, and storage of rod-type shoulder abduction orthoses. This standard applies to rod-type shoulder abduction orthoses used to stabilize patients' shoulder joints. This standard does not apply to shoulder abduction orthoses for children or airbag-type shoulder abduction orthoses.
