GB/T 15969.9-2021 Programmable controllers—Part 9:Single-drop digital communication interface for small sensors and actuators (SDCI)
Abstract
This part of GB/T 15969 specifies the single-point digital communication interface technology (SDCI) (commonly known as IO-LinkTM) for small sensors and actuators, which extends the digital input and output interfaces of IEC 61131-2 to point-to-point communication connections. This technology can be used to transfer parameters to devices and send diagnostic information from devices to automation systems.
This technology is mainly used for simple sensors and actuators in factory automation, including small and cost-effective microcontrollers.
This part specifies the communication services and protocols (based on the PL, DL, and AL of the ISO/OSI reference model) for the master station and device single-point digital communication interface (SDCI).
This part also includes electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing requirements.
This part does not include communication interfaces and systems that integrate multi-point or multi-point connections, nor does it include the integration of the single-point digital communication interface (SDCI) into higher-level systems such as fieldbuses.
