This standard specifies the terms and definitions of automatic ice makers, testing methods, test steps, equipment types, requirements for instruments and testing devices, calculation methods, and data and calculation results that need to be recorded.
This standard does not apply to automatic ice makers installed in household refrigerators, household refrigerator-freezers, and household freezers.
