Abstract
The chapter of GB/T 4706.1—2024 is replaced by the following content:
This document specifies the safety requirements for electric blankets, electric heating pads, electric clothing, and other flexible appliances used for heating beds or human bodies in household and similar applications.
This document applies to appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V.
This document also applies to control devices provided with the appliances.
This document also applies to appliances that are generally used in households but may still pose a risk to the public, such as appliances used in beauty salons and in cold environments.
The requirements and tests for electric clothing are given in Appendix CC.
