This standard specifies the models, specifications, technical requirements, test methods, marking, and packaging of cables used in rail transit vehicles with an AC rated voltage of 3 kV or less. This standard applies to cables used in electrical devices such as power distribution systems, control systems, and signal systems in rail transit vehicles with an AC rated voltage of 3 kV or less.
