Abstract
This document specifies the calibration and inspection methods for tensile and/or compression testing machines. The inspection includes: -- a general check of the testing machine (including the accessories used to apply force); -- calibration of the testing machine's force measurement system; -- confirmation that the performance parameters of the testing machine have reached the required level. This document is applicable to the calibration and inspection of the force measurement systems of tensile and/or compression testing machines.
