GA 7-2004 Protective gloves for firefighters
Abstract
This standard specifies the definition, design requirements, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of firefighting gloves. This standard applies to gloves worn by firefighters during fire suppression and rescue operations. This standard does not apply to specialized gloves used for firefighting operations in high-risk situations, nor to gloves used in hazardous environments such as chemical, biological, electrical, electromagnetic, and nuclear radiation sites.
