This standard clarifies the single-fault criterion, explores various types of faults, guides how the single-fault criterion should be applied to safety systems, and proposes an acceptable single-fault analysis method. This standard does not specify which systems are subject to the single-fault criterion. This standard applies to nuclear power plant safety systems. The application of this standard should be consistent with the requirements of GB 13284.1-2008 and the specified single-fault criterion.
