Abstract
This document specifies the method for determining the ability of metal wires with a nominal diameter of 0.3 mm to 10.0 mm to withstand plastic deformation during bidirectional torsion.
This document is applicable to the detection of surface defects in wires and can also be used to evaluate the toughness of wires.
