GB/T 16895.19-2017 Low-voltage electrical installations—Part 7-702:Requirements for special installations or locations—Swimming pools and fountains
Abstract
The specific requirements of this part of GB/T 16895 apply to electrical installations in the following places:
-- Swimming pools, splash pools, and their surrounding areas;
-- Natural water areas, gravel pits, lakes, and seaside areas, etc., where people swim, play with water, or engage in similar activities, and their surrounding areas. These areas are considered in the same way as swimming pools;
-- Fountains and their surrounding areas.
Note: In normal use, these areas increase the risk of electric shock due to the reduction of human body resistance and the contact between the human body and the ground potential.
Medical swimming pools require separate special requirements.
This part does not include the use of mobile equipment such as pool cleaning equipment.
