GB 7543-2006

This standard specifies the technical requirements for packaged sterilized rubber gloves used in surgical procedures to protect patients and users and to avoid cross-infection. It applies to disposable gloves that are worn once and then discarded. It does not apply to examination gloves or procedure gloves. It includes gloves with a smooth surface and gloves with a roughened surface. This standard specifies the performance and safety of rubber surgical gloves. However, the safety, correct use, and sterilization process of surgical gloves, as well as the subsequent handling and storage processes, are not covered by this standard.
