This document specifies the electrical performance technical requirements, safety requirements, testing rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and usage requirements for valve-regulated lead-acid batteries used in electric assisted bicycles, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to valve-regulated lead-acid batteries (battery packs) used in electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric balance bikes, electric wheelchairs, and other vehicles that primarily rely on batteries as their power source.
