GB 7000.208-2008 Luminaires—Part 2-8:Particular requirements—Handlamps
Abstract
The present part of GB 7000 specifies the safety requirements for portable lamps and similar portable lighting fixtures held in the hand, suspended by hooks, or placed on a flat surface. These lamps use electric light sources with a power supply voltage not exceeding 250 V. This part should be used in conjunction with the relevant provisions of GB 7000.1.
Portable lamps that can be fixed to a bracket using wing screws, clips, or magnets, as well as lamps used for inspecting the interior of barrels, are within the scope of this part.
