This document specifies the types and designations, materials and processes, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of flexible graphite composite reinforced gaskets for pipe flanges marked with Class. This document is applicable to flexible graphite composite reinforced gaskets for pipe flanges with a nominal pressure of Class 150 to Class 600 and a nominal size of DN 15 to DN 600 (NPS 1/2 to NPS 24).
