This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, storage, usage regulations, and factory certificates for prestressed concrete pipes.
This standard applies to the manufacture of socket-type prestressed concrete pipes with a nominal inner diameter of 400 mm to 3,000 mm, an operating pressure or static water head of no more than 1.2 MPa, and a pipe cover soil depth of no more than 10 m. When manufacturing prestressed concrete pipes that exceed the range specified in this standard, this standard can be referenced for implementation.
Pipes manufactured in accordance with this standard can be used in urban water supply systems, drainage systems, industrial and water conservancy water transmission lines, farmland irrigation, factory pipe networks, and deep-buried culverts, etc.
