This standard specifies the general principles for the selection, installation, operation, and maintenance of volumetric flowmeters and their measurement systems.
This standard applies to the measurement of liquid hydrocarbon flow by volumetric flowmeters, but it does not apply to the measurement of two-phase liquids.
