Abstract
This standard specifies the determination of boric acid content, water-insoluble matter content, sulfate content, ammonia content, and heavy metal content in industrial boric acid; the determination of chloride content in industrial boric acid, boron oxide, and disodium tetraborate; and the determination of iron content in industrial boric acid, boron oxide, disodium tetraborate, sodium perborate, and crude sodium boric acid. This standard applies to the determination methods of the corresponding substance contents in industrial borides.
