GB/T 5338.5-2023 Series 1 freight containers—Specification and testing—Part 5:Platform and platform-based containers
Abstract
This document specifies the classification, marking, dimensions, and rated weight, design requirements, and test methods for platform and frame-type containers suitable for road, rail, and waterway transportation, as well as intermodal transport between these modes of transport, for the series 1 containers defined in ISO 668 - models 1AAA, 1AA, 1A, 1AX, 1BBB, 1BB, 1B, 1BX, 1CC, 1C, and 1CX. In certain circumstances, the containers cannot be stacked for loading, or cannot be lifted from the top using dedicated frame-type lifting gear.
