Abstract
This part of YS/T 63 specifies the method of determining the air reactivity of prebaked anodes by thermogravimetry (TGA).
This part is applicable to the determination of air reactivity of prebaked anodes by thermogravimetry (TGA). Due to the diversity of heating conditions, sample sizes, raw materials, measured mass loss, and subsequent reaction rates, there are many available devices. This part specifies the sample size, reaction temperature, airflow velocity on the reaction surface, and reaction time, so that the results measured by different devices are comparable.
