GB/T 17630-2024 Geosynthetics—Dynamic perforation test—Cone drop method
Abstract
This document describes a method for determining the resistance of geosynthetic materials to penetration by stainless steel cones dropped from a fixed height, using the penetration depth of the falling cone to characterize the degree of damage to the product caused by sharp stones falling on the surface of the geosynthetic material. This document is applicable to most geosynthetic materials, but the applicability to certain types of products (such as geogrids or geonets) needs to be verified.
