Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and contract terms for deformed magnesium and magnesium alloy round cast ingots. This standard applies to magnesium and magnesium alloy cast ingots (hereinafter referred to as ingots) with a circular cross-section, which are used as billets for extrusion, forging, and other deformation processes.
