GB/T 20944.1-2007 Textiles—Evaluation for antibacterial activity—Part 1:Agar diffusion plate method
Abstract
This part of GB/T 20944 specifies the qualitative test and evaluation method for determining the antibacterial performance of textiles using the agar plate diffusion method. This part is applicable to woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics, and other flat fabrics. Fibers, yarns, etc. can be implemented in accordance with this standard. This part is not applicable to samples where the antibacterial agent does not spread at all on the test agar, nor to samples where the antibacterial agent reacts with the agar. This part does not involve the evaluation of the safety of antibacterial products.
