Abstract
This section specifies the requirements for the geometric accuracy and testing methods of precision horizontal machining centers (with horizontal Z-axis). This section applies to precision horizontal machining centers that essentially have four NC axes, including three linear axes (X, Y, Z) with travel distances up to 2,000 mm and one rotary axis (B′). It also applies to additional movements of sliding spindles, sliding heads, or three different types of additional universal spindle heads.
