Abstract
This standard applies to unencapsulated Class 2 multilayer ceramic fixed capacitors for surface mounting in electronic equipment. These capacitors have metal connecting tabs or solder strips and are mainly used in printed circuit boards or directly installed on hybrid circuits. Electromagnetic interference suppression capacitors are not included in this sub-specification, which is included in GB/T 14472—1998.
