GB/T 20996.1-2020 Performance of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems with line-commutated converters—Part 1:Steady-state conditions
Abstract
This part of GB/T 20996 provides comprehensive guidelines for the steady-state performance of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems, covering the steady-state performance of two-terminal HVDC systems using three-phase bridge-type (two-path) connection to form a 12-pulse (dynamic) converter unit (see Figure 1), but excluding multi-terminal HVDC transmission systems. Both end converter stations are considered to use thyristor valves as semiconductor converter valves, with bidirectional power transmission capabilities. This part does not consider diode valves.
