Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of overload protection devices for lifting machinery.
This standard applies to overload protection devices (hereinafter referred to as "devices") used in bridge cranes, gantry cranes, mobile cranes, tower cranes, and boom cranes (excluding floating cranes and deck cranes).
