Abstract
This document specifies the additional special safety requirements for treadmill equipment in addition to the general safety requirements of GB/T 17498.1. This document is used in conjunction with GB/T 17498.1.
This document addresses the major risks, hazardous situations, and sports activities associated with the use of indoor fixed fitness equipment under foreseeable misuse scenarios (see Chapter 4).
This document applies to power-driven and manually-driven treadmill-type indoor fixed fitness equipment (hereinafter referred to as treadmill or equipment), with usage categories including S, H, and I, as well as accuracy grades A, B, and C.
