GB 20936.1-2007 Electrical apparatus for the detection and measurement of flammable gases—Part 1:General requirement and test methods
Abstract
This section specifies the general requirements for the structure, testing, and testing methods of portable, movable, and fixed flammable gas or vapor detection equipment. The performance requirements for Class II detection equipment that displays up to 100% of the lower explosive limit are separately specified in GB 15322. These detection equipment or their components can be used in potentially explosive gas environments (see 3.1.8) and in mines prone to gas emissions. This section is supplemented by standards that specify the performance requirements of various types of electrical equipment.
