Abstract
This standard specifies the method of liquid penetration testing for surgical metal implants, the testing level, acceptable limits, testing records, control of penetration materials, and qualification assessment of penetration testing personnel. This standard is applicable to the inspection of discontinuities or defects on the surface of surgical metal implants. Note: The non-destructive testing terminology involved in this standard can be found in GB/T 12604.3-1990 "Non-Destructive Testing Terminology - Penetration Testing".
