Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements and test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for water-glycol-based flame-retardant hydraulic fluids made from water and glycols (including ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, propylene glycol, etc.) as the basic components, with the addition of various additives such as anti-wear agents, oil agents, and rust inhibitors. The products covered by this standard are suitable for hydraulic systems with flame-retardant requirements in industries such as metallurgy, machinery manufacturing, and mining. For example: electric furnace hydraulic systems in steel mills, high-speed wire rod mill hydraulic systems, and coil-rolling mill hydraulic systems in hot strip mills, etc.
