LY/T 1167-2003 Chain-saw—Front hand-guard—Dimensions and clearances
Abstract
This standard specifies the dimensions and clearances of the front handguard of chainsaws, which ensure that the front handguard can fully perform its safety protection function. The front handguard not only acts as a barrier between the operator's hand and the saw chain, but also serves as a controller for the manual chain brake. This standard does not apply to circular-handle chainsaws.
