GB/T 3655-2022 Methods of measurement of the magnetic properties of electrical steel strip and sheet by means of an epstein frame
Abstract
This document specifies the general principles and technical details for measuring the magnetic properties of electrical steel strips (sheets) using the Epstein square coil.
This document is applicable to the measurement of the AC magnetic properties of grain-oriented and non-grain-oriented electrical steel strips (sheets) with a frequency limit of 400 Hz, as well as the measurement of their DC magnetic properties.
The Epstein square coil is suitable for measuring samples made from electrical steel strips (sheets) of various grades. The measurement of their AC magnetic properties is carried out under a given peak magnetic polarization (or peak magnetic field strength) and a given frequency and sinusoidal induction voltage.
The measurement is conducted at an ambient temperature of (23±5)℃, and the samples are first demagnetized before the measurement. Measurements at higher frequencies are conducted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 10129.
