Abstract
This part of YY 1001 specifies the classification, terminology, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, user's manual, and packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for all-glass syringes. This part applies to all-glass syringes (hereinafter referred to as syringes), which, after being fitted with injection needles, are used for subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous injections of drugs and for withdrawing fluids from the human body.
