GB/T 8167-2008 Testing method of dynamic compression for packaging cushioning materials
Abstract
This standard specifies the test principles, test equipment, test samples, test procedures, and test reports for the dynamic compression test of packaging cushioning materials. This standard is applicable to evaluating the cushioning performance of cushioning materials under impact and their ability to protect the contents during the transportation process. The packaging cushioning materials covered by this standard can take the form of blocks, sheets, filaments, granules, and molded parts, such as EPS and EPE, which are soft and hard cushioning materials. It is not applicable to corrugated cardboard, EPE film, metal springs, and shock-resistant rubber.
