This section specifies the requirements for industrial hydrogen, test methods, packaging markings, storage and transportation, and safety requirements. This section applies to hydrogen produced by methods such as chemical cracking, electrolysis, adsorption, membrane separation, and hydride synthesis, which is packaged in bottles, loaded in containers, and transported via pipelines. It is mainly used in industries such as petroleum, food, fine chemicals, glass and artificial gemstone manufacturing, metal smelting, cutting, and welding.
