GB/Z 20177.2-2006

This part of GB/T20177 contains the necessary provisions for implementing data and control information exchange on power line media. It specifies the general description of power line networks; the norms for network topologies and configuration rules; the specifications of physical media involving frequency band allocation, physical and electrical specifications of media, connectors, environmental requirements, and installation considerations; and the physical media specifications of nodes related to the content of higher-layer interfaces with the OSI reference model, control channel signal characteristics, encoding, transmitters, receivers, and signal coupling characteristics. This part establishes a minimum set of rules that comply with the standard. These rules do not exclude extended services implemented by users. This part is applicable to the design, manufacture, integration, installation, and maintenance of automation control systems and products, etc.
