GB/T 27000-2006

This standard specifies the general terms and definitions related to conformity assessment (including the accreditation of conformity assessment bodies) and its application in trade facilitation. Appendix A provides an explanation of the conformity assessment function method, with the aim of further assisting communication and understanding between users of conformity assessment services in both voluntary and mandatory fields, conformity assessment bodies, and their accreditation bodies. When describing specific conformity assessment activities, many concepts may be involved. The purpose of this standard is not to provide a glossary for all such concepts. Terms and definitions are only provided when the concept defined by a term cannot be understood from its general language usage, or when the definitions in existing standards are not applicable. Note 1: The notes of some definitions provide clarifications, explanations, and examples to help understand the concepts described. Note 2: The terms and definitions are systematically and sequentially arranged, with Chinese indexes sorted by pinyin and English indexes sorted alphabetically. Terms defined in this standard that appear in other definitions or notes are printed in bold and followed by the original term number in parentheses. These terms can be replaced by their complete definitions.
