GB/T 18876.2-2006 Standard practice for determining the metallographical constituent and inclusion content of steels and other metals by automatic image analysis—Part 2:Determining the inclusion ratings of steels by automatic image analysis and stereology
Abstract
This part of GB/T 18876 specifies the various steps for determining the grade of non-metallic inclusions using automatic image analysis according to GB/T 10561—2005/ISO 4967:1998. At the same time, the parameters and formulas required for determining the grade of non-metallic inclusions according to GB/T 18254—2002 or ASTM E45—97(2002) are given in the form of Appendices A and B. 1.1 This part is only a recommended test method and does not specify the acceptance criteria for any steel or other metals. 1.2 This part does not address safety issues related to its application. It is the responsibility of the user to establish proper safety and health regulations and to determine the applicability of these regulations before applying this part.
