Abstract
This part of GB/T 6730 specifies the spectrophotometric method of reducing silicon with ammonium iron sulfate and measuring the silicon content in iron ore using molybdenum blue. This part is applicable to the determination of silicon content in natural iron ore, iron concentrate, and pellets, including sintered products. The measurement range (mass fraction): 0.10% to 5.00%.
