Abstract
This document describes the methods for determining the shear strength of coal and rocks, including the determination of shear strength of standard specimens, the determination of shear strength of non-standard specimens, the determination of double-sided shear strength, and the determination of single-sided shear strength.
This document is applicable to the determination of shear strength of coal and rocks. Among them, the determination of shear strength of standard specimens is suitable for coal and rocks that can be processed into standard specimens; the determination of shear strength of non-standard specimens is suitable for soft coal and rocks that cannot be processed into standard specimens; and the determination of double-sided shear strength and single-sided shear strength is suitable for only determining the shear strength of coal and rocks.
