GB/T 246-2007 Metal materials—Tube—Flattening test
Abstract
This standard specifies the method of performing a flattening test to determine the plastic deformation capability of circular cross-sectional metal tubes, including the display of their defects. This standard applies to metal tubes with an outer diameter not exceeding 600 mm and a wall thickness not exceeding 15% of the outer diameter. The range of outer diameters and wall thicknesses of metal tubes applicable to this standard can be specified in more detail in the relevant product standards.
