GB/T 10395.3-2019 Agricultural machinery—Safety—Part 3:Solid fertilizer distributors

Scope

This part of GB/T 10395 is used in conjunction with ISO 4254-1. It specifies the safety requirements and conformity assessment methods for suspended, semi-suspended, tractor-drawn, and self-propelled solid fertilizer spreading machines used in agriculture with only one operator.
This part applies to full-width solid fertilizer spreading machines, solid fertilizer spreading machines with oscillating pipes, and inter-row solid fertilizer spreading machines, as well as solid fertilizer spreading machines driven by auxiliary engines. It also specifies the types of safety operation (including residual risks) information that manufacturers should provide.
The major hazards (listed in Appendix A), dangerous states, and dangerous events covered by this part are related to the use of solid fertilizer spreading machines under specific conditions that can be foreseen by manufacturers (see Chapter 4).
This part does not apply to:
——insufficient lighting in the working area;
——insufficient visibility from the driver/operator's position;
——insufficient seating;
——walking functions (driving, braking, etc.);
——rollover;
——fertilizer loaders;
——auxiliary engines;
——except for the strength requirements of protective devices, it also does not apply to the related hazards of power transmission moving parts.
This part does not apply to maintenance or repair carried out by professional service agencies, nor to environmental hazards (except for noise). It also does not apply to:
——seeding and fertilizing combination machines;
——granular pesticide spreading machines;
——machines operated by non-professionals;
——back-carried fertilizer spreading machines.
This part does not apply to solid fertilizer spreading machines produced before the date of publication of this document.
